Looks like I'll get my engine parts Friday as long as the Pony Express feeds the pony. Brown truck is due to show up today with my new Xtreme PTO.

I taped up the wires that the mice chewed and put a piece of fuel line over the spark plug wire that was chewed. If this engine was going to be run hard I would have replaced the Mag and the kill wire. I think it will be fine as it is. Also the Brown truck showed up with the new clutch. I'm very impressed. So here are some pics.

Guys, I've used Xtreme clutch's on other Cubs, I have no financial interest with Xtreme, that said they make the best clutch I have ever seen and the pricing is so much lower than OEM I can see no reason not to use what they make plus they have replaceable bearings. I'll post the install and results on this project as it moves along.

I have to agree with Sam on the Xtreme PTO's. Sam turned me onto them last year, when mine in the 2372 (1872) took a chit. Great clutch, no adjustments needed, plug and play.
Eats the grass up, and spits it out, even after a damn big lunch...

Got leaky back together and test ran it, looks like it's happy at least for now. Someone replaced the rear seal and managed to nick the crank where the seal rides.
 Cleaned it up the best that I could, put the new seal in and crossed my fingers. So far it's OK but if it starts to leak I may have to see if I can get a repair sleeve.
