Thanks, Jude!

Great pictures of the 71 and Original!

I been wondering if it was a 38"....seems a little small for a 42".

Some great looking pics and progress made too. I guess my 128 might be about 70% done. Only need to get clutch parts, PTO rebuild kit, Wiring harness, Decals, Rear Tru-power tires and front tri ribs. And a host of nuts and bolts. Slow but steady. I should have it done by Christmas I hope. Just in time to find me a blade to put on it. LOL

I'm new to the Cub Cadet world. Y'all have some great looking tractors!
I just got this 1450 at the beginning of June. I already have a new engine cradle for it and new ISO mounts. Just haven't gotten around to the rebuild yet though it should begin this week. So far it is a very good runner and mows fantastic.

Cheers,
Dave

Oak, it's a 1969 or a 1970 arctic cat Lynx 292. It is my sled, I got it going, fixed all the quirks, starts second pull in -40c. It has never left me anywhere, and when it gets stuck I roll it over out of the hole. It weighs 200 pounds or so, much lighter than most sleds, so it is easy to drive. It's more fun to drive then anything else, even though it only goes 40mph lol. Answer your question?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
