I can post a pic later this week i will have to take one. I have about 15 hours on the engine and it is a great fit for the tractor, it runs very well and it fit right in and hooked right up, its alot smoother running engine i am very happy with it.

Default Part of the fleet

I know some of the guys wanted to see the sickle bar on the 149, so I found some of the more recent pics on my computer. There are two pics of the 149, over the winter we had rebuilt the entire motor, other than that and tires it is all original. The 102 is one that I keep up here at school with me to mow the lawn and to plow snow with, she's a little ugly but runs amazing all that I've done to that since i bought it two years ago is have the head planed, and installed a new head gasket. And also tires. The 102 is also equipped with the creeper drive.

Thanks Allen, it will soon look better when it's wearing the lights that Lew sold me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
