Is there a trick to getting the seals out?
And should those inside bearings move freely with my fingers, or will I not be able to move them? (the ones in the rear end)

Ok, now I know how to get the seals out, but the bearing I'm talking about is, cub cadet # 741-0369, Bearing Assy. Differential Cone.
Should I be able to turn it with my fingers as it sits? I put my fingers inside and tried to turn it and it's tight, shouldn't I be able to roll the bearing by hand?

Those bearings are for the differential drive.That whole assembly turns and rides on them.The axles are not in contact with that area.
