Finished up the new body for the Trx-4. It's a 72 Chevrolet. Sure looks way better than that thing it came with, and a whole bunch lighter.
Made a new rear bumper mount to bring it up and in. And made some side extensions to close in the gap between the rock sliders and body.

Traxxas TRX on the dirt pile
Had the TRX 4 out on the dirt piles behind the house. Thing climbs them pretty darn good.
 Had a few "ups and overs", but that's all a part of the game.

Seems this thread is going stale.
 Anyone getting into the crawlers?I went waist deep into the crawlers over the winter. Fun "hobby". Started out last year with the Traxxas TRX4 Defender. Then added the Vaterra Ascender, then the RC4WD Trail Finder 2 (Marlin Crawler addition) then last the Traxxas TRX4 Bronco. I put a driver in the RC4WD. Full interior. Building one for the others.

Just picked up a LOSI 1/8 scale Nitro Truggy for the grandson to learn on.... I guess I will play with it too!!! Will post some pics later...

Just couldn't resist the Bronco could you?
It is a sweet liking machine and I'd love to have one, I've also had my eye on a trailfinder 2 kit for a while now. I had an original trailfinder that I built about 7yrs ago and if I can find some pics when I get home I will post them up. Now you need to add a Tamiya Bruiser to your collection.
