Brrrrrrrrr and I thought a -12 windchill in the morning was cold! We got 3-4" last week, then had temps up to 60. We got 1/2" last night and -12 windchill in the morning. Got my block heater on a timer for my truck!

Holy moly! It's bloody cold! Not even dogs can pee outside! I'm far up north and the worse we got to date is -8 F. Compare to last year -35 F this is amazing.

I get down my full heated and A/C harbor crane to work as a container crane signaler outside, I sit on my butt most of the time but sometimes I need to get on the ship to help the operator moving hatch and special load.

I consider myself very lucky to say the least this year.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
