Default Duel Wheels!

Well today was good. I got my 2" spacer rings from jeffscub at Only Cub Cadets.net. . I couldent wait to paint them first and wanted to see if they were gonna work. And they do! They are made very well and the 2" seems good in space. Going to paint them Federal Yellow since I have some left over paint. Also down 1 10" 1/2" carrage bolt. I'am running duel 23-8 x12"s I think. Also put on the 16 x 6.50-8 new off the 72 up front, since they are wider than the 71's originals. Spacer rings Made in Alabama, U.S.A .

George sounds like your seat safety switch might be bad.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
