Default Me and the Fam

First Pic is my ugly mug
Second pic was taken in Hiawassee, GA on an old 801 Powermaster. My son loves tractors.
Third pic is most recent and shows my terribly receding hairline at a young age, but also shows my family. That's my wife, oldest boy Sheppard, and my newborn son Stetson. Bruce is the ferocious dog you see.

All is well. I check craigslist from time to time and the only Cub Cadet stuff that comes up are crappy newer walk behind mowers. Not much use for a garden tractor in the suburban desert. When I'm ready for another one, I'll probably have to look pretty far east, like somewhere around Montague, NJ.
I hope you are well too.

That’s cool Nate. I like seeing the reveal stories when it comes to redoing a cub for someone in the family etc.

Btw I’m glad this thread has been resurrected, keep the pictures coming! Mr twoton looks like he’s ready to rumble.

Mr Lewy looks like he was on his way to Woodstock or maybe hitchin a ride with the easy riders with some left handers.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
