Nice! I just put a set of those on a project I finished. I like them but they do cut the ground in soft conditions.

I run loaded AGS in the back so not like I'm gonna worry about a cut or two.

Same deal here! Our lawns are basically fields, so who cares!

Looking good Sam!

Side note: I just noticed the exhaust hole in the grill, Did all the Cubotas come like that? Guess it made $ence for MTD to only make 1 grill.

Yep Big T all the Cyclops had the same grill the 1782, 2182 and I think the 2086 had a plug in the hole for the exhaust. Most of them fell out as did this one. Pretty sure Cub123 has the plug in one of his 1782's of course it's NLA from Cub.

It was on an 1882 that I had, it will be replaced with one of your bumpers once the Pony Express shows up with the goods, that is if they haven't lost it. It's ugly but I had it so I used it.

Nope and I'm not in the mood to even try to find out what it is.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
