11 here in Galax, I hate cold almost as much as I hate snow. Weather guessers are calling a party mix Friday rain, ice & accumulating snow. Guess I better put the trickle charger on the Bota, haven't even looked at it for a couple months.

Just looked at the local forecast and now they are calling for, if the European model is correct 18" + Tim this is all your fault. Guess I'll be pushing snow Friday, I just can't wait. Did I ever mention that I hate snow?

The first year my folks lived in Blacksburg (in the late 50’s) they said it snowed so much that it drove all the hillbillies out of the mountains and they came down into town looking for help.

Have fun Sam!

Couple hours southeast of you and depending on who's forecast you look at, 1-3 inches of snow and rain. Leads me to believe this could turn into an icing event. Time to get the generator serviced.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
