Took my #1 tiller apart. Cleaned, primed, and painted. Will let parts dry overnight and put them back tomorrow. Sorry, no pics. Wife went to visit her folks and took the camera. I'll get some eventually.

Got my wheel weights cleaned up today. Sprayed a couple coats of primer on and will hopefully get the white on this weekend.

Default Fender back on

Got my 71's fender pretty well straightned out, you can see in 1st pic how mangled it was. Also pulled out light switch and took it apart and found that the contacts were bent, so I repaired switch and will see if that fixes my lighting issue!!

Today?

Maybe sand off the rust & stuff from my muffler on my # 109 wash it down with some naptha & paint it with some high/temp paint.

Starting to cool off real nice, & a pleasure to start tinkering & get ready to paint it. Cpuld'nt stand the high temps., humidity, even with a fan blowing on me. The heat just drained the snot out of me.

October seems like a good, cool month to paint,

Nik,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
