Default My new to me 1250

Hey all!
Still new to the IHCC Underground but here is some pics of the 1250. She is in need of some repair, as are both of my cubs, but she does run and a nice resto is in order.

My 129 with a quick spring touch-up.

Red straps for the gas tank because we all know that anything red ads 5HP.

And I've bee harassing a local business trying to convince them they need a new mower so I can get my hands on this

They are not buying into it, though...

Don't worry about the Lo-Boy, that 129 looks like it could mow circles around the Lo-Boy!!

The 129 (with her 14HP) is my go-to girl. Want the Lo-Boy for my "street rod."
A bunch of us in the hood use our cubs instead of the usual golf carts found around here and this would be an unusual addition to our weekend get-togethers.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
