Anyone plowing with an O?

Now I'm really really ready for snow! I got my new to me 149 running nice yesterday. I put my the QA42A and a set of ags with chains on it. I still need some weight for it. Now I can push or throw. All I need is some snow.

I’m embarrassed to say that I started this thread and had never been ready so early but then the 72 stopped running. I’ve been chasing the symptoms and have yet to get it going.

But…I picked up this 71 just a few months ago that has been repowered with a 10 hp (yes, I know it has a 102 hood also…) has headlights, rear grote, fenders and a complete, working, original cigarette lighter …long story long…I swapped the plow and wheel weights over and plowed our first accumulation of snow last night.

Everything went great but man do I miss my hydraulics, this manual lift sucks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
