Had to repaint part of the frame. Also got the trans and diff painted today. Now just the fenders left and the yeller is done
Also received my decals from Maple Hunter.... Top notch as always
And here's a picture from the owners manual that supports my "yeller" voltage regulator.

Todd,
Trying to get caught up with your project. You have mastered the HF spray gun quickly as I expected. Mine worked OK for the big orange tractors I just finished.
This O is going to look exceptional with this nice paint work your doing. Lots of detailed prep work to get it to come out looking that good. Hows that hood coming along?
Hope things are good.
Did you get that new CASE project home?
Regards,
Chris

Thanks for checking in Chris
Yup, the H.F. HVLP seemed to work okay, not that I have much experience to compare.
The hood is being difficult, but it won't get the best of me. I will win the battle in the end
Yes the JI CASE is home, and I had it running in short order

Todd,
The fenders look awesome. Have you considered clear coat? After doing a couple tractors and seeing them fade soon. It might be worth the effort.
Regards,
Chris

Thanks Chris. No I have not considered clear coat. I don't foresee a fading issue, I think it'll be fine as it will be stored indoors.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
