lets look at the NQS points, in pro and super in the top 25 of each class there is 1 WF , no 82's. Wayne is leading 1050 , 19th in 1100. just about everything else is NF. looking at champions since 02 51 NF championships 6 wf and 6 82 series

Don what you are saying is true, if you look at just the stats then yes you can say that the NF is a better pulling frame, but I'm just saying that the person sitting the tractor is just as important as what frame type the tractor is knowing how to weight and gear to the tracks, being able to pick the best line. All play a key role, not to mention the power plant under the hood. Ps dads sitting 19th in the 1100 due to being dq'd in the finals in sturgis and breaking the rearend in the heats in richmand luckily on saturday not friday. In the end to each his own thats just my .02

your Dads a very good puller. think he won the SA and outlaw in NQS in 06 the same year I won SS. I've always been surprised by how well He did with that tractor. Todd Vorhees used to run a WF and switched to a NF a few years ago. while there are allot of variables in building a tractor choosing the big variables carefully can make life allot easier. sort of like saying Briggs or Kohler? but there's one guy in Ohio with an unreal Wisconsin. and you are right about the guy in the seat. In Talmadge Ohio I spent allot of time with one particular driver and talked him into changing his driving style. first run out of bounds. He was pissed. all I said was if you could drive you would do well. next class he got his first NQS win.
