Ok. What about the needle on the main jet adjuster? Are the holes in the needle clear? Best way I have found to check is to take a brake cleaner can with a straw and put the straw directly in contact with a hole in the needle and spray. Look for liquid to shoot out all the holes. If it doesn't, they are plugged. NOTE: Wear eye protection!

How about you check and make sure they are clear. And tell us what holes the spring is in, (or a pic). Not that we don't trust you. But many, many times before I've seen where someone really thought they knew what they did was right, and it wasn't. You asked for help, please just humor us. |

When you rotate it, it has a "flat spot" in it? Is this correct?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
