I think the two brown wires in the picture and plug are for the oil light which is not hooked up. Looking for a replacement now as my wire leads and connector were broken off.
I do also need to have a look at the parking brake switch when I get home and verity its integrity.

This is the plug, circled, I am talking about, pretty sure it needs to be connected to the switch to complete the circuit even when the go go handle is in neutral.

I do have the reverse plug hooked up.
I did realize the brake switch is definitely not hooked up. I will need to trace the wires for that and jump it temporary to see if that allows it to turn over.

Good news to report: fuel pump is on, engine turns over and glow plugs are receiving current! I bench tested them and they are good. Appreciate everyone’s help thus far!
Bad news: I have one green wire by the reverse relay that when connected is causing a short, the wires at the relay are getting hot. That is the next one to trace down, seems to me it should be grounded but clearly I have something crossed. Tractor won’t start. Have a visible leak at the base of one of the injectors. I have to admit I’m pretty good with gas engines but not much experience with diesels. My thought is possibly clogged injectors? I do have fuel to the injectors. Any help on next steps is much appreciated!

Verify fuel supply through the pump. You might have air in the system, or a faulty high pressure injector pump. Even if the glow plugs are getting voltage does not guarantee they are burnt out. Since they are so cheap, I would replace them. In rare cases, it could be low compression causing a hard to impossible start condition. With these Kubotas, valve lash adjustment is important.

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked the wiring on the reverse relay, looks correct from what I can tell.
I will be traveling for a few days, I appreciate the suggestions and will report back my findings.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
