It does look to be in real good condition Martin. Hey I plum forgot about the measurements you wanted, sorry. But thinking about it, how am I going to describe measurements on something that shape?
I'll try to get someone to climb over everything this week and see what we can come up with unless someone beats me to it. (hint, hint) Looks like you have some adjustments to make yet. That's a very important part because one thing off will throw something else off...

Very nice Martin!
I have no idea how to change it from narrow to wide or visa versa. I can't imagine it's too hard, the mounts look pretty simple. Good luck! |

Grass Divider Board
Well to complete my sickle bar mower all I needed is the grass divider board. Not having anything to go off from other than pictures I asked around for some measurements and this is what I came up with (thanks gcbailey!!!) Made this up today using 14 ga. sheetmetal and a piece of 1/4"x1" flat stock. The 2 chalk lines was me trying to decide how wide the "flag" side should be. Attached is a picture of an original and the one I made today. What do you guys think...close enough?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
