Jason, I found the problem with posting my pictures...operator error...it was late last night and I was not thinking clearly. LOL
Yes, I would like to see pics of the height adjustment you made...whenever you get a chance. Come on now, with all those great implements you have you ought to be jumping right into getting that garden done! only downside is that they don't actually plant the seeds and plants for you. Take care, Jason

Lonny, do you do a lot of canning and freezing of your garden yields?

Hopefully my house will sell and my offer go through on 6 acres. I plan to have a garden the size of yours, or bigger, and I am looking into canning and freezing.

You guys have a lot of fun. My garden is 5X24 with only about 6 hours of sunlight a day. It grows good Potatoes and Beans, as well as cole crops, but not much for the hot sunny crops. Still, it beats flowers.

IAfarmer.

Actually no! what don't get eaten goes out to the road to be picked up by who ever needs or want it, as I don't charge for any of the extras grown in the garden.
Some years I have way to much and am forced to make a compost pile out of extra yeild, but I have no way to keep the wildlife from eating the compost pile, so I have sat up a barder system with the wild life, I feed them all summer and they help feed me in the winter.
Kind of an equal trade so to speak

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
