Most important to re torque in sequence after a heat cycle or two,
otherwise it WILL fail and you get to do it again.

Get it flat before you install it or you will be doing it over. You should be able to pick up 220 wet paper at most auto parts stores. 220 wet on glass and you should be able to get it done in a few minutes, it's not a big deal. As far as heat cycles, that is what it sounds like, run it get it up to temp and re-torque the head bolts.

Oh, ok, thank you!
I will get some 220 and hopefully ? get it done within the next week sometime. I’ll make sure to torque them down again after running it.

Make sure you let the engine cool down before re-torquing.
