Got some pictures today. The switch and bracket are permanently wired. All I do when the snow comes is connect the lead wires to the battery and bolt the bracket on using one of the seat bolts. This set-up sure saves a lot of time from getting off and back on. I used a DPDT switch from radio shack that was only about 8 bucks. This is the third season using this electric lift with no issues.

I like the looks of that set up, but can you get a better picture of the rear bracket? It looks to be something you fabbed up?

Front bracket looks relatively simple, just some hardware and a piece of angle iron?

Here are some more pictures. One of the most important things is to make sure you get the travel of to actuator centered to left to right. This makes plowing snow a whole lot easier.

Thanks for the pics. I got over to Dad's today and rummaged through his stuff and sure enough there is an electric lift cylinder there for a 147. I brought it home and it does work; a little slow but it works.

Question is, how does the slotted clevis come off the end of it? I just can't seem to figure out how it comes off. Its threaded but doesn't want to turn off and the jamb nut on the cylinder doesn't seem to do anything.
