The Firestones are 23x10.5x12s, and the wheel spacers are 2.5" from Extreme Motorworks. (I needed the room for the loader arms.) I've been running both for 2 years now and they work great. I also have the firestone's on my 149 with a front blade. No problem pushing snow or dirt. Both sets are loaded with Rim Guard and weigh about 80#'s each tire.

Here are my Firestone 23's, 10.5 x 12 rear tires! I love them! Have not yet used them, but need to finish my 1450 to do so, lol!

Did you have to add spacers under the fender pan? |

You can see that the fenders are higher in relation to the frame.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
