Getting the old ones off was quite easy.....Putting the new ones on, especially the second beads...not so much!

Nice hammer....Been around the block a few times?...

Get your self the small tire changer from Harbor Freight tools. I have one and it makes changing the small tires easy.
I made mine to mount into the receiver hitch of my truck.

going to look into that small changer......thanks

But I believe my biggest difficulty was doing this with inner tubes. Made it difficult for the bead to sit in the recess prioperly.

The tires look good! Now try mounting a set on freshly painted rims without scratching them.

OK.. first time I have seen a lathe used as a tire machine. Not sure the bed on mine is deep enough. I've done some pretty small tires on my coats 10/10 however.

It helps if you warm them up in the oven first. Mike

I was complaining to an elderly gentleman (76),lawn tractor repairman he is, about changing those little burgers on the front . He showed me his little trick and said work smarter not harder. The trick ....WD40 . Makes changing tires so much easier you'll want to throw nails in your driveway !

I used both a spray made especially for changing tires and a jar of Tire Changing Goo.....Both helped, but not enough!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
