As far as soda blasting, there is nothing that it can hurt. After its done you just clean it with diesel and then dry it. It was assembled with the old seals and gaskets. Then I tore it down cleaned it and reassembled it with the new equipment. Spotless engine. Before and after pick

Untrue. It's a media. It's abrasive. If it would happen to get into the motor through a loose gaskets, or like around that plate on the intake port......

I wouldn't clean anything with diesel fuel before I painted it. That's a bad combination. Diesel is oily.... paint doesn't stick to oil.

I've heard a lot of people who threaten to make a removable tunnel Narrow Frame, don't ever remember seeing one though.

friend of mine who pulls, had me remove the clips and washers, then tap out the pins. Once the pins are out the gears just fall out.Then I taped the holes to 1/2" nf and just put 2 hex set screws in.

Oh and no new parts relay, just seals and gaskets. Everything else looked good inside & out.

How you gonna keep them from falling out?

Should have just put the pins back in.

Tractor puller does not necessarily equal mechanic.
