Big GS,
You certainly know that you can never have too many Cubs in the garage! Sounds like you could get that 800 for a song. Even if it has to sit in the corner for a spell at your place, it is your duty as a Cub Nut to save it from a bad fate!!! Now be a good "Cub" Scout and bag that 800, and make everyone on OCC proud! -lol |

Wow, What a nice looking 800! I'd hold on to that tractor. Looks to be in great shape with all the hard to find parts. Sounds like lady luck shined on you. Have you bought a lottery ticket yet????

But that is the 800 we bought a year ago for a whopping 100 bucks...The one I am looking at is believe it or not, even better and has some extra pieces that will make it worth more. I'll see how it turns out and may have a pic or so ,but not holding my breath. Would be funny to have 2 800's here...

Make it happen, Cap'n! You don't fall into those deals very often!! Like my Dad told me "Never pass up a Cub, because you'll always be that one Cub down" Wait a minute, he may have phrased that differently.......

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
