My grade nine class was one of the first to have electronic calculators mandatory. We all had to buy a big TI30 with red LED digits for our math class. Damn thing costed about $30 in the late 70's. Ouch! A computer wasnt even in the horizon, the Internet wasnt even in Al Gore's imagination yet.
Facebook should be banned. Twitter banned. Stupid selfies and telling people everything that goes through their hollow mind. Christ. Internet is good for 2 things. Cub Cadets and porn, not necessarily in that order. |

Sam they ask if i want a bag I tell them no thanks got one in the car. I have FB. HARDLY EVER even check it. I have seen more than a few long term relationships end because of old flings finding their way back into the equation. Not saying it happens to everyone but I do know it happens. No tweets, twitch, snapchat... there are so many different sites its scary. I found out my x gave my 15 yr old daughter a cell behind my back after I told her no (I have sole custody) and when my wife found that she made a FB page under fake name I started hunting down the phone, when I found it I was disgusted!! Pics that boys in school sent her, OTHER GIRLS sending nude photos, little boys penis!! She would not tell me who the boy was so I could have a talk with his parents so I called the police so they could find them and let them know what their kid was up to. The cop actually came back to the house the same day and told me he found out who the kid was and asked if I wanted to press charges, I said that all depends how the parents reacted and he told me he wouldn't be surprised if the boy ever even wanted to see another phone after they got done with him. I said no to pressing charges and gave him her phone to see if they could find the rest of the kids and he told me 99% of pics were taken from school and used school wifi to send the pics out. I went to school board and filled them in and my daughter came home from school and hated me more than normal. When I finally found out what herr problem was, the school actually put password on their wifi and almost every kid in her HS found out I wss in the office throwing a fit and got their fun stopped they were all pissed at her for it. I told her she should have told me who the kids were so I wouldnt have had to call cops I never would have found out most of the activity was being done in school!! All of our devices are locked up so tight I can never remember passwords!

Text, well yes with about 4 people in different states. Maybe 3 or 4 X's a month. T H A T' s I T. ! No twitter crap. Just got back from New Orleans & the phone (Samsung Note # 5) was a blessing.Took nearly 100pics & the honey took about the same. Gps thing was a God-send.

It's a old thread but I want to share my 2 cents to this one
I use to be a geek dad..... Here the first computers I offer to my children: Here the last computer they learn basic language on: After that I give them electronics et mechanic games like those: Now after been brainwashed by all that stuff I give them the tools they need to "reset" their "Hard drive". They never use tweet, texts, or Email to talk with me, we use the oldest communication system ever invented... Talking to each others

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
