I'd buy the 100. Bigger motor is where it's at. 7 HP is fine but 10 is better.

Yea, I have a 124 that has a 12hp. When I get off one of my Originals, and jump on the 124, it feels like I just got on a huge tractor.

If you just playing with it go for the 70 with the 7hp... those little motors run so smooth and slick!!

If you are going to work it the 10hp would be better... The 100's usually have the wider tires and they look more muscular!

I have both... it would be a hard choice!

I don't do any work with any of my Cubs. Only wipe the snow off the driveway every once in a while. I just like to play with them. I know that the K161 is the best engine ever made, so I don't have a preference over the 2?

When it comes to power, some is good, more is better, too much is just right.

A-Man brother Sam. But you just can't beat those old 7hp Kohlers. They seem to run forever. BTW, it doesn't matter anyways. There isn't a 70 or 100 within a 100 miles of me. Their all up north or you guys have them all Besides, I would have to have one with headlights, creeper and spring assist just to name a few.

I guess it really doesn't matter. The ones I have found, are a million miles away and the sellers want double the price for them.
