I built a cat 0 for my 682 and this is what I ended up with. I started with several dimensions that Bill has posted.

The od of my frame is 10.875" wide, I didn't want to "plate" over the whole rear end so used 2"x2"x.25" angle on the sides.

I have aluminum trans axle so used all existing bolt holes in the frame for mounting. If you want more info on this I could provided some dimensions that I used but I don't really have a final drawing due to the fact there was so much experimentation involved for me to get it right, well close, I still might change things.

The biggest issue I have with the whole set up the way it turned out is the lift range is lower than I would like, hope to remedy that this spring summer.
Good Luck!
Vic

Looks great Vic! I know all too well about the experimentation, still a few things I want to tweak on mine. Jhuston, keep us posted on your progress!

Looks good Vic! I need to build the lower lift arms and the peice that connects them to the upper lit arms. The PO of my 1211 kept those parts and the top link!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
