interesting points that may have been missed.
1. one decal says 9 horsepower. 2. written note that cub was to be removed from the name. 3. one sketch shows a radiator.

Thanks for sharing garnold! Fascinating the time and number of employees that it took to create the equipment that we use and collect...and the rationale behind their decisions, such as cost, ease of production, esthetics, etc.
Now if someone could unearth the same types of documents leading to the creation of the 82 series...

Obviously you do not have a copy of Oscar Will's 50 Years of Cub Cadet. Most if not all of these photos are in that book along w/a whole bunch of history.
Would make a great Christmas gift!! I have got to get another copy as mine is about to fall apart!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
