Thanks, and yes it's a rattle can job, but if you take your time and do it right a rattle can can be made to look just as nice as a gun.

Ok, my question of the day. Should I replace these bearings, since I have it apart, they seem to be fine, but they are over 40 years old.
[IMG][/IMG] Also should i go with A 13 tooth over top pinion, or just stick with the OEM 12 tooth[ I don't relay understand the difference, what would be the good/bad [IMG][/IMG] |

Well I got the engine finished today and put in her just to test, she runs great. Waiting on my fiberglass hood and grille to arrive from Midwest supercub so I can get he wrap put on. Hope to have it ready before the Richardson county fair Pull in 2 weeks, cutting it real close. I also filled in all the holes on the dash and will add the little 1" mini gauges, Tac, Volt, Oil tmp, Head tmp, and switches for the fuel pump, fan, lights, Main Bat, and push button start. Planing on going with the old 1940's aircraft style toggle switches, with U-shaped Toggle Switch Guards.

Looking good! However I'd suggest finding a different location for your points saver. They don't like vibration.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
