If you know where you got the lights, please post a link or send me a PM with where you got them from. I've put some add on LED's on some equipment and like the results. But I've got some tractors I don't want to butcher with add-ons.

Par-36 LED Fluted Flood Lights

Link above to the ones I bought. I purchased the fluted version to keep the older look but it doesn't fool anyone.

Thanks! I'll probably get a set soon. Got one tractor that I'm a little worried about heat buildup, but another as well as the Cadets should be no problem.

If you plan on buying more than one set, I'm sure he will give you a discount. It would be worth checking.

If you buy 10 plus their 26.50 a piece compared to 29.50 or something like that. He also has the package deal with 8 par 36's that comes up to $212, I think you can pick what pattern you want out of the 8. If your looking for different lights for other things you maybe want to look into spending $500, spend $500 then its free shipping. Hope that helps.

Default Update!

I have been using the 1811 to haul lumbar around my house. It has been taking the bumps and steep hills well but I did run into a slight problem. The bumps took their toll on the positive battery cable. The "crimped" connection worked itself loose so I upgraded it and it is working better than ever!

Default Cub Cadet 1811 Project - Battery/Charging Issue, Oil & Filter Change and Cleaning

VIDEO LINK: Cub Cadet 1811 Project - Battery/Charging Issue, Oil & Filter Change and Cleaning

Spent some time getting the 1811 ready for summer. Unfortunately, I am having electrical problems. If you have a suggestion for a replacement battery, please let me know. On the plus side, the engine has been cleaned and been given an oil change.

Congrats on getting your 1811 !! I have two of them and IMO i believe they are one of the best models built. 400 hrs on your engine is a plus , very low hrs. One of my 1811's has 1200 hrs on it , so i think i am going to retire it from mowing duty.

Sent you a PM.

Darrell

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
