My two cents
I much rather drive the 8 miles so I can get away from the Boss (Wife). So that makes 16 miles there and back. HA HA!

I have found that the best way to keep from needing some odd piece or part is to keep it. I have kept goofy stuff for years, then one day in a fit of reason, I say to myself, "Self, you have dragged this thing around the country for years now, and have never found a use for it. It's time to throw it away." So I do. Within two weeks, never fails, I need that exact thing and have to go to town to buy it again.
I plan to retire soon and find a place where I plan to set down roots and never move again. I have vowed that once I find that place, I will never throw away any useable thing again. |

Oh, yeah. So you think you have saved some $$ by defacing pennies, huh? Well, I actually work for the government and I'll make a lot of reward $$ by turning you in to the feds!!!:biggrin2.gif:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
