So, where can I find a washer?

I'll start calling the sponsors above.

thanks again, everyone!
Washer shouldn't be anything special take one to the local hardware store or TSC and match it up. I know TSC also sells shims for machinery if the washers wont play.

I got a washer and it didn't help.
If I'm looking at the diagram correctly, does the split spacer go around the cone spacer?

PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the manual. Pic is better so you can see how it goes together.

I'm pretty sure I have all of the parts, so I must be doing something wrong.
between the bearing assemblies I have the split spacer.
I have laid out the other parts as I have installed them.
The small thick split washer seems to just float around in there right now.
The tightness of the grease bolt make the spindle hard to spin.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
