The rear tires are Interco Interforce 27x7.5x12 on 12x7 Wheel Horse rims. A 6" wide rim would also work as these tires are pretty narrow.Front tires are Deestone 4.00x8.The front axle is a wide frame axle with reworked spindles to achieve the 2" of lift I needed to offset the 27" rear tires.I moved the rear axle back 2" to acommodate the larger tires and moved the front axle forward 5".I cut the tunnel cover off and added the 2" to it so it would come back to the shifter. So,this tractor is 2"higher than stock, and the wheelbase is 7" longer than stock and the track width will be about 3" wider than stock.
I realize these tall rear tires will "gear me up" considerably, but this is just a "ride around" tractor for shows and such,no pulling a plow or anything ground engaging.I figure I will just be losing first gear and have a really fast reverse and third.("Road gear" as my Daddy calls it).
Yes Cub Cadet 100RHC would be "Red High Clearance".
It would look like a Mi-Mo if I painted it yellow/red,wouldn't it?
That is so cool! Thanks for the pics and please keep them coming.

Boliver,,,,,Thanks,I like the sound of "100 Super".I believe I will call this tractor "Cub Cadet 100 Super" instead of 100RHC.

Sam,Allen, may I change the name of this thread to "Cub Cadet 100 Super" Build/Mod?
Thanks,Tim.E

Allen,Thank you for changing the thread title for me.

Right now I am working on new fender risers and brackets, since I had to move them for the 27" tires.I am also working on the hood,it needed a couple of places welded. The cross brace was broken loose on one side and an extra hole put in by a P.O. needed to be welded up. I forgot to mention I had to make the driveshaft and the brake rod 2" longer.I was going to use a 71 front grill casting, but I decide to retain all the original 100 sheet metal and grill casting and call this a "100 Super".I think I will paint it red with white stripe like a Farmall 504/506.
I did drive it yesterday and it is not "geared up" too terribly much by the
27" tall tires.

Love the build, I have had thoughts of doing the same thing on one of my 100's.

Default progress

I made some progess on my "100 Super" over the long weekend. Here are some pics. The color looks "orangey" in the pics, but it is really IH red. I painted the seat and footrests with truck bed liner.I still need to paint a 3" wide strip IH white on the bottom sides of the hood, get some custom decals, and get a new muffler and put on the exhaust stack, and a few more finishing touches.I should be ready for the fall tractor shows coming up in October.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
