I find it difficult to believe anyone would be holding that plug bare hands for any length of time if there were a real ignition going on in it. Briggs or not. I have scars to prove that from when I was younger. Ceramic carries heat. SHENANNIGANS!!!!!

Also, I know my iPhone doesnt have great quality footage or any real closeups, but I examined that engine closely and saw no signs of an additional head. Personally, I think he has some kind of igniter inside maybe laying between the head and block. maybe some wires going to the coil some how. I like the idea of welding the plug hole except for the tiny hole which would help to keep the compression in while he pulls out the plug for the show.

Was the motor hot or cold when you first saw him start it up? It could have been dieseling, though at that point you'd think the spark plug would be too hot to hold.

The engine was cold the first time he ran it for us. He cut it off and was not running for about 5 min. Then cranked it again and thats when I took this video.

David what is the large silver box on the right side of the motor? Why is that not painted red?

[QUOTE=Iluvtruks0;81720]According to the old man, he has no extra head or plug at all. and with an exrtra head installed under that "false head", how would you get the fire to come out that caused the towel to burn. Believe me the exhaust is coming out the muffler.[QUOTE]
I think the "dummy" spark plug is not located in the combustion chamber, but in the exhuast port.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
