Crabgrass can really cause a lot of problems when it tries to keep looking nice patio. You can make it difficult to enjoy a pleasant stay in the yard in bare feet as well. There are some things you can do to help get rid of crabgrass and keep the grass green. Start with some of these ideas before we get too worked for it.
1.) Purchase a pre-treatment that can be placed on the lawn. You can look at your local hardware store or at your local nursery to find the type of treatment. Get help if you can not find it because they want to buy something that will kill your lawn. 2.) Try not to cut the grass too short. If you are the type of person who really enjoys having a shorter lawns may have to reconsider. Crabgrass needs sunlight to grow. If you let your lawn get a little higher to block some sunlight from reaching the roots will not grow as often or faster. 3.) Consider digging up the roots. This can be a good idea if you do not have a lot of grass in the garden. Just remember to wear thick gloves if they are to adopt this approach.
