Last time I called Brinly and asked them why the shares are so expensive . The customer service lady told me that that they are a very popular item and its supply and demand. Go Figure.

When you can buy a 16" plow share for 1/3 of the price, and I'd be willing to bet, they sell WAYYYY more of those... Same goes for their disk blades. I wanted to re-blade the disk I just bought. No big deal right? The wanted I think like $13 per blade for their 11" disk blades. I can buy a 12" for $8. |

Here is a picture of Jon when we were working on getting the plow set up. On one pass he just kept going and I thought he was going to try and plow that whole field you see. I thought it was kinda comical. Sorry that is the only picture I took that day.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
