AHA! Found the "S" and "T" on the flywheel (had to get my thicker glasses and clean it up a little) and set the timing. Fired right up and runs great. Thank everyone for your help. It set me back a few hours but it was worth it because I learned quite a bit during that frustrating time.

Earl that's great news! I personally wish they would have stamped those S and T's deeper into the flywheel.

Most flywheels I have seen had them stamped pretty well...the problem is the flywheels weren't painted from the factory. If they had been, this wouldn't be so much of a problem.

Very nice looking 169 wow. Hoping my 128 will get finished in a few more months and will look that good.

I agree, I had one heck of a time finding the marks, oddly, mine were stamped "s" and "dc"...once I found them (flywheel out of the motor at the time) I took some white paint and a fine tipped brush and painted the marks and the letters.
