I misremembered, i thought they were from amazon but they were from ebay. They are 9W PAR36, equivalent to 50W incandescent supposedly. the rear lights are T10 led replacements.

The LED's are brighter, unless you are blowing snow. The LED's do not heat up like the incandescent bulbs to burn off the snow. Of course, engine heat can help and it depends on the type of snow, the wind, and the temperature.

In ordered those exact ones and they got here a couple of days ago. But I won't know how good they are until the tractor is back together in a month. |

Wow what a difference, I wish I would have done this upgrade years ago. I'd say at least 3 times brighter.

Agreed, and yet at much less current draw. I have these on my 782D and they've been fine for several years. In this case, there is such a thing as a free lunch

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
