DX3, I apologize for asking the by pass questions, as I know better, it will not happen again. I talked to a CC dealer yesterday about this problem. Told me to remove the igniton module and bring it in and they would check it. If that was not the problem, they would come to my shop and pick it up and do a complete check, as he stated CCC has had a lot of problems with this tractor since new. He also told me, that he had one customer with the same LT with various problems and CCC replace it with a new one, because of the lemon law.

Check on when it was sold. Warranty should start when it went into service.

I apologize for the late reply. I will have to check with the Owner on the service date and get back to you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
