I drug home a 1641 that had a large plastic mug screwed right to the side of the hood. It looked terrible.

I'm thinking of a cup holder that would be mounted by silicon to the shaft cover I've spilled more cold beverages or hot coffee than I can count. I think olds45512 has the right Idea using the pvc painted cub yellow I may have to steal that Idea. I thought I would have a slot in the side for the handle.

Don't be like the PO of my 1250, he bolted a van cupholder to the fender to hold a drink. Now there are 5 bolt holes with corrosion around them on my fenders. The best part was that he used those square bolts that prevent the bolt from spinning.

I guess its mounted that way to keep a beverage hot Any cup holder I have had on a tractor vibrated so badly that it would make a beer go flat in a couple minutes.

I never drink anything carbonated when mowing for this reason. Even holding your drink while you mow can get hectic with dash control hydro.

Think I might try something like this to eliminate vibration. Plus its self righting at least in one direction. I like the small concealable mount and that I can take take the holder off easily leaving the mount

Is it big enough to fit a 20oz pop bottle?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
