Thanks Jon! The smile on dads face was worth it all... An old farmer never gets tired of the smell and look of fresh turned dirt! He is nearing 80 years old but any tractor and plow turns him into a kid again!

Well good for you and your father Jay.
You seem to have it dialed in. Can't believe you are plowing "dirt" and we have nothing but that white s#%t to plow around here.
Suck it all in Jay, and enjoy those times with your dad.

Todd,

I don't know how y'all stand all that white stuff and cold up there!
I think it was 70 degrees yesterday when those pics were made! That's why I live in South GA though!

I do cherish every moment I get to spend with my dad! He taught me everything I know and had me wrenching on cubs by the time I was 9 years old! We have lost all three of his brothers within the last 5 years so I feel honored to still have him in my life!

Looks great buddy. Just a thought, why not swap the tires and wheels of the 2182?

Thanks Sam!
That thought did cross my mind ! Might have to catch Dad away from the shop for a little while to make that happen though! He is pretty fond of the "little" 2182!
Maybe I could tell him I was just "borrowing" them for a bit!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
