Thanks and congrats on the rain stopping! It started out small then my wife told me to make it bigger so I always do as I'm told! Now I want to expand it more this fall. It's sitting crooked on the lot so got to fix that.

I did the same thing by removing the sod at the start of my garlic patch. By chance did you save the sod? You could later re till the sod pile and add it back to your new garden. The sod is nutrient rich, so by adding it to the garden end of season would be good for it. Then till once more for the winter. Then you may be well to do by covering the garden with old straw or hay for the winter. Lightly. I'd say untill the plants get bigger, you should only have to weed 1 time every 2 weeks. Any compost-organtic material you can add, the better. Perhaps have a compost bin and add before planting. That is a cool loader, btw.! Dont add any manure that is not aged. Aged will be like a peat.

Thanks John! I did not save the sod I filled in some low areas next door to me. Got to get some straw still it works real good with the heat down here. I love my loader. I'm going to get some mircle grow and start using it. My plants are lagging behind the other gardens I do and they all use mircle grow. Got some tilling to do and I'll post some new pics and get the list of what I've planted.

Feels like summer here! I've got a spare rear out of a 102 I'm going to put in it. I've got some plans for that 100 and well lets just say lots of cub things going on in the background. Got to grab a camera so I don't forget the pics!

Well I've totally have failed in getting pics and keeping this up to date. Sorry for the lack of updates. The crab grass has taken over the garden. Plans are to expand the garden so I can fit the tiller between the rows so I don't have to hoe so darn much! I can't stand removing weeds and crab grass while it's 90+ outside. So time to make it larger so I can sit and till the weeds away. I did harvest some green peepers today and got some pics. I got all these off 3 pepper plants and I've got 12 more plants to pick!

I've got purple sweet peppers, macironi green peppers and green peppers in these two bowls.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
