If you look at the schematic everything receives power with key on. All of the controls are through the ground path. The PTO switch completes a ground from the relay to engage the clutch.

This is really going to help now and in the future ... I really appreciate it.

I tried to remove the plug for the PTO to clean it, but that sucker is on there ... I just spray some contact cleaner on the terminals that were exposed. I don't have that upper body strength you boys do ... any other way to remove it besides brute force?

Arrow Yep ... I found it

Yes ... I see it now. I ordered a replacement found it on ebay for $8 to the door ... hopefully that will correct the PTO from disengaging at times. Thanks a lot guys.

Okay ... the PTO went out again. I was able to cut all the grass ... cut for 3 hours with no trouble. Stopped for 20 mins. break. Started it back up ... no PTO. I ordered a new relay last week, but it looks like it got lost in the mail. It was suppose to be here on the 20th, but I'm still waiting for it and there hasn't been an update in the tracking since the 20th. I'm in Ohio and the relay is coming from PA.

Anyway how do I test for voltage on the relay it is plug in to some kind of module and taped up. What do you mean by cycling it a few time ... pulling the PTO switch in and out?
