BAH!
Ya' all need a little imagination!!!! With all the steel-spokin' that's been goin on with the earlier cubs and all, it was only a matter of time before someone took it to the next level. Imagine if someone were to put something together that looked like this!

If it was me I'd get the longest steering shaft I could find and have the steering wheel end machined to fit the Ford wheel. Other thought is to use a coupler to fit the Cub shaft and a short shaft for the wheel. Woodward Steering makes a bunch of couplers but your still going to need to do some machine work or some welding. I'll try to dig up a link for Woodward for you. I've use Woodward stuff to convert a Cyclops steering box to fit a 1210. I used the C109 for that job.
Edit: Try this link. http://www.woodwardsteering.com/imag...l%20joints.pdf Scroll down to page 10 & 11

Bought this. With a little help from the machine shop, it should work fine. Thanks for the link C5rider.

Glad to help!
But remember, now that you've sucked us into your devious color-scheme, you're going to have to keep us informed. The best way to do that is through a BUNCH of pictures!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
