I decided to paint the roof cc yellow to make it stand out more than the original white. Put in a new headliner. I used the 1" foam backed liner they use in the big tractor cabs. It was a painstaking job and not as easy as the professional on YT made it look. It tourned out well an should quiet things down. Going to put some of that material on the doors also.

Got the cab assembled and new weather striping installed. A few more little things to finish up. I found a PO had painted near the cab sometime in the past and I spent several hours with Windex and a straight razor scraping the haze of overspray off the glass both inside and out. My son thought I installed new glass.

Hey Randy, Lot's of irons in the fire but I still look in to see what's happening on OCC. I've been building a new stable for the cubs when the weather is good. Sam, I used 30 yds of concrete on that....could have used your help.

I bet you and Randy have plenty to do these days. Hope it's getting better for you guys. Rick I would have cut you a deal on the concrete. What are they getting for concrete in your area these days?

The price varies depending on how well connected you are and who you buy it from. Lots of suppliers here, anywhere from 100-140/yd delivered. I have a connection here.

Maybe I need to get back in the BIZ, I was only getting about $70.00 per yd. in 1992.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
