April 1979 1200 Quietline 44A deck 1988 1211 customized into a 1288 with a K301AQS 38C deck and a 1864 54” deck . Snow blades 42" and 54" . Brinly disk, brinly plow a cultivator and a $5 brinly yard rake!

The wheels were a little tougher, and I didn't have much hope for them as they were really rusty.

However , scotchbrite, bar keepers friend and a lot of scrubbing did wonders.

More after my arms rest up!

Thanks, guys, I do enjoy rescuing old stuff with a minimum of expense, and try to learn something new every day.

A relative told me several years ago to use tide with bleach on aluminum gutters, so it popped in my head when I saw how bad this was.

The Works toilet cleaner, (which is 20% hydrochloric acid) is an excellent rust remover, and at about a dollar a bottle is about as cheap as it gets, but it would be a last resort on painted surfaces I think.
