I have some 5 acres of simi wetland, it stays too wet for tractors to keep mowed till full summer is here, they tear up more than i want to fix. One of my 1811s just blew a rear main seal and really doesn't have the power it ought to. My other one needs a bit of work too but only thing i got to mow with right now. I always wanted a super and a bigger deck. Im 60, working too hard as a masons helper and mech for a big mason outfit and childhood friend an and getting tired. Grass dont care it just seems to grow faster ever year.

The 2072 is closer by 3 hr and would match what I already have but I liked the thought of the 60 inch deck. I really dont like the plastic either

I do have a 3 point tiller and plow and disk that went on an old bolins and a blade for a cub.

I'm a master diesel mech that started before dot made them get em right or not on the road. swapping stuff is not a big problem IF it will fit.

The 60 inch deck is a Habin deck I think, it's a fabricated deck, not molded like the 44s that I have. From what I can tell the plastic is ok, but I haven't seen it myself in person.

$600 won't rebuild it. I'm sure you're capable. It's a matter of cost. You will have as much in rebuilding as a new. Unless you're one of those mechanics who pieces stuff together and doesn't really rebuild engines. Or, unless you own a boring bar and valve grinding equipment. Even then, you'll be lucky if the block doesn’t have a hole in it.

The Bolens tiller won't work on the Cadet. Wrong PTO.

If you need to mow, then get the big gun. The22 with the Haban will kill grass in a hurry.

If you mow 5 acres then I would think of getting a good ZT to handle that load and use your GT for utility work... The ZT will save you the time to fix your others machines....

I would haggle down the price of the Cyclops if you have to have it since its a drive to get it....

Ginsenger, I looked at the ad, he doesn't mention that this tractor has rear pto. If it did, those 2 options are the selling price of the tractor.
