And they are courteous and polite!

Take the good one back there and tell her that I (Yosemite Sam) said get off your ass and find a cross for it!
I agree with Sam that is senseless to say the least. that kind of treatment is uncalled for. And they want to know what is wrong with this country HA HA. Todd I wish you well in getting your issue resolved, if that would have happened to me I would have publically embarassed her.

Your bearing burned up and disappeared off the end of the bolt.
Then the pulley ground around the shaft digging that trench in the bolt.
Until it too flew off the bolt.
Then the belt fell off very soon after.

Your lucky the parts lady did not need to know what size tires and if your tractor had headlights in order to look up the parts you need.

Did she want to know if it's 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive??
That's what they ask me when I go in a parts store to buy a light bulb for my truck. Honestly!

I need to apologize for my earlier post, apparently I read the post #6 wrong. I thought Todd said that he went to the local bearing house when in fact it was his local Cub dealer.

My mistake.

I put NAPA idler pulleys on both my 125 and 122 mule drives.

Part # 7-05212 V-BELT IDLER PULLEY

two required per mule drive @ 8.99 each
That's a deeper V pulley from NAPA I run on my NF cubs. That price is from 2012

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
