This is the first time in 10 years of going to plow days that couldn't plow because of the soil being too dry.

I am glad its not that dry here! Heck we had almost a week of rain about 3 weeks ago....the high parts of my lawn had water on them....squishing as I walked over it. Other parts had almost 2" of water laying for almost a week afterwards. We certainly could have sent some moisture your way! Cool Cralwer Merk! Doesn't matter what colour it is...its still cool!

That's gotta suck! Don't you just wish you could have moved the plow day location just a "little" bit? Weather people are full of You can never rely on them other than to pull a weather report outta their butt every day!

This was a first for me...couldn't plow because it was too dry. I've been going to plow days for the last 10 years.

Sorry about that missed opportunity Merk!! Better to know when to say No, than to break up your equipment. It's been unseasonably dry here as well. Hope that the stories told were better than the ground conditions!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
